(a) At least two subjects at the Advanced Level which must include Economics.

(xi) EKSU accepts any of the following:

(a) Five (5)'O' Level credit passes in Mathematics,Economics, English Language and two (2) other subjects one of which must be from the Social Sciences.

(b) Two (2) 'A' Level passes in Economics and any of Geography, Government and Mathematics.
(xi) EKSU requiresfive (5)'O' Level credit passes to include English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any two (2) other subjects, one of which must be a Social Science subject. (xi) EBSU and BENIN requires Mathematics, Economics and any other subject.
(xii)COVENANT accepts ND upper credit in Marketing, Business Administration or Banking and Finance. (xii) KSU requires any two (2)'O' Levelcredit passes in any relevant subjects as the fourth (4th) and fifth (5th) subjects. (xii) BINGHAM also requires Geography and Accounting.
(xiii) IGBINEDION accepts ND lower credit in Accounting, Business Administration/ Banking and Finance; NCE in Economics, Mathematics or any other Social Science subject. (xiii) CONVENAT - same as in Accounting (xiii) CUAB requires Mathematics, Economics and any other Social Science subject

(xiv) SALEM and EKSU require Mathematics, Economics and one other Social Science subject. SALEM for Criminology requires Government and any two (2) of Economics, Geography and Literature in English.
(xv) CUAB requires two (2) 'A' Level passes to include Mathematics and either Economics or Accounting. (xxii) UNIOSUN accepts ND upper credit and approved equivalent in Accounting, Business Administration and Banking and Finance. (xxii) LAPAI requires five (5)'O' Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any two (2) of Social Science subjects. (xxii) COAL-CITY requires any three Arts or Social Science Subjects.
(xxiii) AUN accepts

(a) 'A' Level passes chosen from Mathematics, Environmental Science, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Literature in English, Government, History, Economics, Geography, Further Mathematics, Technical Drawing, Visual Arts, Computer Studies, Information Technology, Civics, and French.

(b) Does not accept 'O' Level credit passes in the following; Agriculture, Food and Nutrition, Home Economics, Home Craft, Home management, Physical Education, Physical and Health Education, Music, Commerce, Accounting, Financial Accounting, Book Keeping, Islamic History, Religious Studies, Tajweed, Library Studies, Diction, Kiswahili, Igbo, Hausa, Yoruba, Arabic, Turkish, Study skills.

(c) Accepts ICGSE and 'A' Level Cambridge and does not offer admissions direct to 200 level programs. May transfer credits relevant to its major at the discretion of the Dean of school.
(xxiii) DELSU requires five credit passes at SSC or its equivalent which must include English Language, Economics, Mathematics and any Social Science or Arts subject. (xxiii) UMUDIKE and NILE - Same as in Accounting.
(xxiv) CRAWFORD accepts;

(a) Statistics.

(b) NCE passes in Economics, Mathematics or any Social Science subject.

(c) ND/HND in relevant subjects not lower than lower credit.
(xxiv) FED-OYE EKITI requires 'O' Level credit passes in the other two (2) subjects to include one science subject and any one of Accounting, Business Management, Government, Geography or Statistics.

For Criminology and Security Studies FED-OYE EKITI accepts five (5) SSC credit passes including English Language, Mathematics, Government and anyone from(Economics, Commerce, Geography and one Science or Arts subjects at SSC.
(xxiv) OOU accepts Mathematics/Economics and any two (2) other Social Science subjects.
(xxv) WESTERN-DEL accepts two (2) 'A' Level passes in Economics and one other subject. (xxv) UNN requires five (5)'O' Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Economics and two (2) other relevant subjects. (xxv) ABUJA requires Economic, Mathematics, and any other subject in Social & Management Sciences.
(xxvi) BELLS - Same as in Accounting. (xxvi) ILORIN requires five (5) 'O' level credit passes in English Language, Maths, Economics and any two (2) of Commerce, Geography and Government. (xxvi) LASU also accepts Commerce or Principles of Account.
(xxvii) AUE accepts NCE upper merit or equivalent in relevant subjects in addition to the UTME requirements. (xxxv) NDA requires the two (2) 'O' Level credit passes in Arts and Social Science subjects from Accounts, Commerce, Government, Civic Education, Geography and History. (xxxv) MAIDUGURI requires Economics, Mathematics and any of Government, History, Geography, Literature inEnglish, Principles of Accounting or Commerce.
(xxxvi) NILE - Same as in Accounting. (xxxvi) UNIKINGS same as in Accounting. (xxxvi) FED-OYE EKITI requires Mathematics, Economics and one of Government or Geography.
(xxxvii) CUAB - Same as in Banking and Finance. (xxxvii) EUI requires five (5) credit passes at SSC or its equivalent including English Language, Mathematics, Economics and two (2) other relevant subjects at not more than two (2) sittings. (xxxvii) MOUNTAIN TOP accepts Mathematics, Economics and any other Arts or Social Sciences subjects.
(xxxviii) EBSU accepts HND, NCE and ND merit and upper credit respectively in relevant programmes. (xxxviii) LCITY requires 'O' Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any other two (2) subjects. (xxxviii) BSU requires Economics, Mathematics and any of Government/History, Geography, CRS, Commerce and Principles of Accounting.
(xxxix) UMYUK accepts IJMB with a minimum of nine (9) points in Economics and two (2) other Social Science or Management Science subjects or ND in Accounting, Banking and Finance, Business Administration, Purchasing and Supply Economics/Cooperative with lower credit. NCE in Economics and Mathematics with a minimum of nine (9) points. (xxxix) FED-OYE EKITI requires five (5) credits at SSC (or its equivalent) in English, Mathematics, Economics, plus one social Science subject(Government or/Geography) and any other subjects in Arts, Social sciences or science. (xxxix) AFIT-DEG requires Mathematics and any other two (2) subjects from Economics, Commerce, Business Methods, Principles of Accounts, Government, Statistics and Geography.
(xl) ESUTECH - in addition to Direct Entry requirements, requires three (3) additional 'O' Level credit passes in subjects other than those passed at 'A' Level. (xl) FED-DUTSE requires five (5) 'O' Level credit passes at not more than two (2) sittings in English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any other two (2) subjects from Commerce, Geography, Government, Accounting or Civic Education.

For Criminology and Security Studies, FED-DUTSE accepts;

five (5) 'O' Level credit passes SSC or its equivalent to include English Language, Mathematics with any two (2) Social Science subjects and any one Arts subject at not more than two (2) sittings.
(xl) IAUED requires English Language, Mathematics, Economics,Government or any other art / Social Science and Business Subjects.
(xli) SOSU requires candidates to also satisfy 'O' Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any other two (2) Arts or Social Sciences subjects. (xli) MOUNTAIN TOP requires credit passes in five (5) subjects at not more than two (2) sittings at 'O' Level to include English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any other two subjects in Arts or Social Sciences. (xli) PHC requires Economics, Mathematics and any of Government/History or Geography.
(xlii) LAGOS acceptsVery good passes in three JUPEB/A Level subjects: Economics, Mathematics and any one of Accounting, Geography, Government, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Three Cambridge 'A' Level passes in Economics, Mathematics and any one of the following: Accounting, Geography, Mathematics, Government, Physics and Biology. (xlii) FED-LOKOJA requires five (5) credit passes at not more than two (2) sittings in English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any two (2) relevant Arts and Social Science subject such as Accounting, Geography and Government/History. (xlii) FED-KASHERE requires Economics, Mathematics and any of Government, History, Geography, Literature in English, French, CRS/IRS.
(xliii) ABUJA accepts two (2)'A' Levelpasses in Economics and any of Science, Social Sciences, Management subjects or History/Government or NCE minimum ten (10) pointsor ND with upper credit in relevant programmes in addition to the UTME requirements. (xliii) IAUED: Requirements for admission into the B.Sc and B.Sc (Ed) programmes of the Department of Economics of Ignatius Ajuru University of Education are in line with general NUC and JAMB regulations. Specifically, entry qualifications shall consist of five O'Level credit passes at one sitting or six O'Level credit passes at two sittings which includes English Language, Mathematics, Economics, and any two of Commerce, Government or History or Civic Education, Geography, Marketing, Data processing, Bookkeeping and Accounting, Business studies, Biology, Agricultural science or any other science subject. (xliii) KASU requires Economics, Mathematics and one other subject.
(xliv) UNIKINGS same as in Accounting. (xliv) ABU requires Five 'O' level credit passes including English Language, Mathematics and Economics plus any other two Arts, Social Science and Management Subjects. (xliv) LANDMARK requires Economics, Mathematics and any other subject.
(xlv) MCPHERSON accepts

(a) ND upper credit in relevant programmes.

(b) Foundation of professional examinations such as ICAN, ACCA, ICMA & CIBN.
(xlv) PHC requires Five (5) SSC credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Economics, Government/History/Geography and any other subject from Commerce, CRK/IRK, Literature in English, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Agricultural Science. (xlv) RSUST requires English Language, Mathematics, Economics, and any other Social Science Subject.
(xlvi) ODUDUWA accepts NCE merit in relevant subjects. (xlvi) FED-KASHERE requires Five credit passes at SSCE (or its equivalent) in English, Mathematics, Government/History/Economics and two other Arts or Social Sciences subjects. (xlvi) SOSU requires Economics, Mathematics and any of Government, History, Geography, Literature in English, French and Christian Religious Studies /Islamic Studies.
(xlvii) CHRISTOPHER accepts two (2) 'A' Level passes including Economics and any of Sciences, Social Sciences, Management subjects or History/Government. HND, ND or NCE credit in the relevant subjects. (xlvii) FED-KASHERE requires Five credit passes at SSCE (or its equivalent) in English, Mathematics, Economics and two other relevant subjects preferable in Commence, Government and Accounting. (xlvii) FED-DUTSINMA requires English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any one of Arts, Social Sciences and Science subject.
(xlviii) ILORIN accepts

(a) At least two (2) 'A' level passes in Economics and any one of Mathematics, Geography, and Government.

(b) UNILORIN Diploma in Money and Banking (Upper Credit) plus UTME requirements.
(xlviii) LANDMARK requires Five (5) SSC credit passes including English Language, Mathematics, Economics, any other two subjects (science, arts or Commercial/social science).
(xlix) BELLS accepts two (2) 'A' Level passes in any two (2) of Economics, Mathematics and Geography/Government

(a) ND with minimum of upper credit in a related programme as the case may be from recognised institution.
(xix) RSUST requires Five (5) WASC/SSCE/ GCE/NECO 'O' Level Credit passes including English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any two (2) other Social Science subjects.
(l) FED-DUTSINMA accepts Two 'A' level passes in Economics and Social Science, Arts or Science subject. Two 'A' level credit passes in Economics and Arts, Social Sciences or Mathematics. (l) SOSU accepts Five (5) SSC credit passes to include English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any other two Social Science subjects at not more than two sittings.
(li) PLASU accepts

(a) degree in any programme provided the candidate meets UTME requirements

(b) HND minimum of lower credit in relevant programme, with UTME requirements,

(c) ND lower credit in relevant programme, with UTME requirements.

(d) IJMB minimum of seven (7) points with passes in relevant subjects plus UTME requirements.

(e) PLASU does not accept university diplomas and other diplomas not accredited by the relevant accrediting bodies.
(li) FED-KASHERE Mathematics Economics and any of Government, History, Geography, Literature in English, French, IRS & CRS
(lii) PAN-ATLANTIC accepts

(a) two (2) 'A' Level passes in any relevant subjects

(b) OND/ND lower credit in relevant programmes.

(c) NCE lower credit in relevant subjects.

(d) HND lower credit in relevant programmes.

(e) International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB) in relevant subjects.
(liii) EUI accepts;

(a) Two (2) 'A' Level passes in Economics and any one of Mathematics, Statistics, Geography, Physics, Chemistry, Agric Science, Accounting, Business Management, History and Government.

(b) NCE with passes at merit level in relevant subjects.

(c) ND/HND at credit level in related discipline.

(d) Very good passes in JUPEB/IJMB subjects.
(liv) FED-DUTSE requires;

(a) ND with minimum of Lower Credit in Accounting, Banking and Finance, Business Administration/Management.

(b) IJMB with minimum of 8 points in Social Sciences.

(c) NCE holders in Economics, Accounting and Business Education with minimum of 7 points.

For Criminology and Security Studies,

(a) Two (2) 'A' Level passes in Sociology, Economics and either Geography, Government or Civic Education.

(b) IJMB with 9 points in the above subjects.

(c) Diploma at Merit/Lower credit level in Crime Management, Law, Social Work, Social Policy and Administration and Community Development.
(lv) MOUNTAIN TOP requires candidates to have passed at credit level five (5) subjects including English Language, Economics and Mathematics at SSC Level or its equivalent as well as Economics and at least one of Mathematics, Statistics, Geography, Physics, Chemistry, Agricultural Science, Accounting, Business Management, History or Government at the G.C.E, 'A' Level.

(Note: Commerce is not one of the subjects accepted in the Department of Economics).
(lvi) IAUED: Admissions into the direct entry programme of Department of Economics requires credit pass in English and Mathematics at the O'Level, in addition to at least lower credit pass at National Diploma (ND) in Banking and Finance, Management, Accounting, Marketing, or a pass in Economics and any other related subject at the 'A'Level; also a minimum of merit at NCE.
(lvii) ABU accepts Two 'A' level /IJMB passes one of which must be Economics.
(lviii) PHC accepts Two (2) A/Level passes in GCE or HSC or JUPEB or IJMB in Economics and any one of Mathematics, Geography, Government or History in addition to UTME entry requirements.NCE/Diploma with (Upper Credit) in the relevant subjects in addition to UTME entry requirements.
(liv) FED-LAFIA accepts In addition to UTME requirements, DE candidate must have any of the following:Two A' level credit passes in Economics and any one of Mathematics, Chemistry, Agricultural Science, Accounting, Business Management, History and Government.ND with not less than Lower credit in courses that are relevant to Economics/HND. Minimum of 9 points in IJMB in a courses related to Economics. A merit in NCE.
(lv) FED-KASHERE accepts Minimum of Lower Credit in ND or recognised Diploma or 9 Points in IJMB/NCE in related Social Science discipline.
(lvi) FED-KASHERE accepts Two 'A' Level passes in Economics and any of History/Government, Science, Social Science and Management subjects or Credit passes at NCE or ND or IJMB with at least 9 points in relevant subjects.
(lvii) KASU accepts Two 'A' level passes chosen from Accounting, Economics, Business Administration and one other relevant subject.Foundation of professional examination such as ICAN, ICCA, ICMA and ANAN.ND/HND Lower Credit in relevant Discipline.NCE at merit level in Accounting, Business Administration and Economics/IJMB 7 points and above in addition to 'O' Level requirements.
(lviii) LANDMARK accepts Two (2) A level passes in Economics and any one (1) of Mathematics, Statistics, Geography, Physics, Chemistry, Agricultural Science, Accounting, Business Management, History and Government.
(lix) RSUST accepts;Admissions into Year III; Degree relevant to the Programme. HND (Upper Credit) relevant to the Programme.Admissions into Year II; OND/ND (Upper Credit) in relevant discipline. HND (Lower Credit) in relevant discipline.Degree (Third Class) relevant to the programme.
(lx) SOSU accepts; A minimum of Lower Credit at Diploma in Business Administration, Banking and Finance, Taxation, Accounting or other relevant course. A minimum of Merit at NCE in Economics major with Mathematics/Computer Science/Statistics, or other relevant course is also considered.
(lxi) FED-LOKOJA requires;

a) Two (2) 'A' Level passes in Economics and any of Mathematics, Statistics, Geography, Financial Account, Business Management, History or Government.

b) At least merit pass in two (2) NCE teaching subjects including Economics.

c) For OND, minimum of upper credit in Diploma in Accounting, Business Administration, Marketing and Banking and Finance (not more than five (5) years).

d) For HND, minimum of upper credit in Diploma in Accounting, Business Administration, Marketing and Banking and Finance (not more than five (5) years).

e) For Bachelor's Degree, minimum of 3rd class in relevant courses from any recognized institution.
