'A' Level passes in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.Five (5) SSC credit passes in Mathematics, English Language, Physics, Chemistry and any one of Geography, Economics, Arts and Technical drawing. For holders of NTC, the other relevant subjects could be Intro. to Building Construction, Bricklaying, Concreting, Walls, Floors and Ceiling Finishing, Building/Engineering Drawing, Joinery, Carpentry, Gas, Steam Work and Bronze Welding, Cold / Hot Water Supply, Sanitation and Drainage.Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry
(i) AAU accepts 'O' Level pass in Chemistry. ND/HND in relevant programmes. (i)AAU Chemistry is not compulsory. (i) ABU requires Mathematics, Physics plus any one of Chemistry, Geography, Economics, Biology and Technical Drawing.
(ii)ABU accepts

(a) 'A' Level /IJMB passes in Mathematics and Physics plus any one of Chemistry, Biology, Economics and Geography.

(b) ND upper credit in Building from any accredited institution.

(c) HND lower credit in Building from any accredited institution.
(ii) ABSU requires five (5) 'O' Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics and any two (2) subjects from Chemistry, Technical Drawing, Geography, Arts and Economics or any NTC relevant subject. (ii) ESUTECH accepts Economics, Geography or Biology in lieu of Chemistry.
(iii) BAUCHI, MAUTY and MINNA accept ND/HND lower credit in relevant courses in addition to UTME requirements.(iii) ABU requires five (5) 'O' Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics and Physics plus any two (2) of Chemistry, Biology, Fine Arts or Technical Drawing, Economics and Further Mathematics.(iii) MINNA requires Physics, Mathematics and any one from Chemistry, Geography, Biology, Economics or Arts.
(iv) BELLS accepts

(a) two (2) A' Level passes from Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.

(b) ND/HND upper credit respectively in Building Technology.
(iv) BAUCHI requires five (5) 'O' Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics and any other two (2) subjects from Chemistry, Geography, Economics, Technical Drawing or relevant trade subjects. (iv)FUTIO requires Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics.
(v) CALEB accepts holders of ND for admission to 200 level provided they satisfy the following:

(a) they must score not less than upper credit or 60% overall average in the ND examination.

(b) they must also obtain at not more than two (2) sittings five (5) 'O' Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics and any two (2) subjects from Chemistry, Technical Drawing, Economics, Further Mathematics and Biology. Holders of other qualifications such as HSC, GCE, A' level will be considered for 200 level.
(v) BELLS requires five (5) 'O' Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and any one of Biology, Technical Drawing, Geography, Economics and Building Construction.
(vi)FUTA accepts

(a) National Diploma with a minimum of Upper Credit in any of Building, Quantity Surveying, Architecture or Civil Engineering; or

(b) 'A' level pass at not less than credit level in Cambridge International Examination (CIE), Interim Joint Matriculation Board, (IJMB) examination, Joint Universities Preliminary Examination Board (JUPEB) examination or its equivalent in at least two of the following: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Geography and Economics; or

(c) National Diploma from recognised Polytechnic or College of Technology at Upper Credit level in Quantity Surveying or Building Technology or other relevant fields in Environmental Design and Management.
(vi) CALEB requires five (5) 'O' Level credit passes or equivalents in Mathematics, English Language, Physics and any two (2) of Building Construction, Technical Drawing, Economics, Biology, Chemistry and Geography.
(vii) IMSU and OAU accept ND/HND upper credit in relevant programmes into 200/300 level provided they satisfy the following:

(a) ND course must include Mathematics at ND II level;

(b) Have equivalent of 'A' Level in Mathematics.
(vii) COVENANT requires English Language, Mathematics, Physics and additional two (2) 'O' Level credit passes in Chemistry, Economics, Technical Drawing, Further Mathematics, Geography, Land Surveying, Building Construction, Biology and Agricultural Science. Requires at least 'O' Level pass in Chemistry.
(viii) JOS accepts

(a) ND/HND with a GPA not less than 3.50 in Building or Civil Engineering for the 200 level.

(b) ND lower credit in Building Engineering, and other appropriate programmes plus 'O' Level credit passes in Mathematics, Physics, and English Language.
(viii)FUTA requires five (5) SSC credit passes or its equivalent at a maximum of two (2) sittings in the following subjects: English language, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry with one from the following: Economics, Geography, Further Mathematics, Technical Drawing and Building Construction.
(ix) LAGOS accepts

(a) very good passes in three (3) JUPEB/'A'-level subjects: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry.

(b) HND/ND distinction in relevant programmes into 300/200 levels. Candidates must satisfy UTME requirements.
(ix)JOS accepts 'A' Level passes and at not more than of two (2) sittings in Mathematics and either Physics or Chemistry or both and at least two (2) 'O' Level credit passes from Building Construction, Land Surveying, Fine Arts, Technical Drawing, Economics, Additional Mathematics, Geography including English Language.
(x) MAUTY accepts HND pass or ND lower credit in Building or any relevant programmes (x) LAGOS - the fifth (5th) subject should be one of Technical Drawing, Building Construction or Economics.

(xi) UYO accepts ND upper credit and HND lower credit. (xi) MAUTY requires 'O' Level credit passes in Physics, and any other two (2) subjects from Building Construction, Geography, Economics, Technical Drawing, Further Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Plumbing and Pipe Fitting/Electrical installation and Maintenance work/Block laying, Brick laying and concrete work, painting and decoration.
(xii) FUTO requires;

(a)At least three 'A' level passes not below Grade C in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.

(b) ND/HND at Upper Credit level in Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Geology, Environmental Sciences or Engineering.

(c)First Degree in Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Geology, Environmental Sciences or Engineering.

(d)Very good passes in three JUPEB subjects namely Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. It does not accept NCE. Candidates must in addition meet the 'O' Level requirements.
(xii)OAU accepts any one of Additional Mathematics, Biology, Building Construction and Land Surveying in addition to the listed options.
(xiii) MINNA requires English Language, Mathematics, Physics and any two (2) from Chemistry, Geography, Economics, Fine Arts, Technical Drawing, Building Construction, Biology.
(xiv) FUTO requires at least five (5) 'O' Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and any other science subject in not more than two (2) sittings. At least a Pass is required in Biology.
